Equipment

  • 1 Food Processor Optional

Ingredients

  • 1 12 oz bag fresh cranberries, chopped
  • 1 medium Honeycrisp Apple, chopped
  • 1 medium Orange, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp orange zest
  • 3/4 Cup Table Sugar

Instructions

  • First, start by washing and drying the orange. Then, zest your orange before chopping it into small pieces. You should get roughly one Tablespoon from amedium sized orange. Place the chopped orange into a medium sized mixing bowl. Set the zest to the side.
  • Next, peel and chop the apple. I like to chop all my ingredients pretty finely, but you can do this to your preference. If you are using a food processor, simply chop your apple into a few large pieces and place them in, giving them a few good pulses until they are the right size.
  • Chop the cranberries into fine pieces OR place them in a food proccessor and give them a few pulses until they are the right size and finely chopped. Then, mix together the chopped apple, orange pieces, chopped cranberry and orange zest.
  • Spinkle the sugar over the chopped ingredients and stir to combine. The sugar will dissolve after a few minutes. If you have any leftover orange, feel free to give it a squeeze over the relish for added orange flavors.
