  • 3 pounds of Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
  • 1 Cup Table Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 3/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 stick Salted Butter

First, start by peeling and slicing all 3 pounds of apples. Then, toss them with the Cup of table sugar and 2 Tbsp of lime juice. If you don’t have lime juice, it is perfectly fine to substitute lemon juice in this recipe.

Then, transfer the sugared apples into a 9×13 baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together 3/4 cup flour, 1 1/2 Cup of old fashioned oats, and 1 1/2 Cup of brown sugar.

Melt the butter and pour it into the oat topping mixture. Stir well to combine. It may form small clumps and that is okay!
